23RD&HARE was born out of a need for a creative outlet back in 2010 --- a year after college graduation that started my journey as a self taught jewelry designer. Since my day job involves helping heal the sick --- a privilege that comes with an achy back and a sore heart, the idea of making beautiful things with my own two hands became my own version of therapy. 

When I am not knee deep in a crafty project, one can often find me immersed in a book or two... a literary escapist of some sorts. Creatively my ideas for many of my creations come from a deep love of everything pop culture, as well as everything vintage. My favorites are the gorgeous art deco style of the Roaring Twenties and the avant garde opulence of the 1950s. 

The dream that is 23RD&HARE came from my mother who taught me to bravely pursue all my passions. After an almost six year long battle with a rare arteriovenous malformation, she went to be with our Lord in early 2017. And bravely I took the proverbial leap into making this passion project into a reality.

The proverbial hare in 23RD&HARE are my fur daughters --- Chubbi, Mochi & Peaches, a trio of rambunctious bunnies who have hopped over the rainbow bridge.
